Set atop a distinguished late-19th-century building in one of Frogner’s most desirable addresses, this penthouse loft apartment offers a rare combination of architectural character and contemporary living. Positioned on the upper floor of an elegant building dating back to 1896, the residence enjoys a privileged sense of light, privacy, and outlook, crowned by a generous private rooftop terrace.

Materiality & Architectural Expression

The interior design celebrates the apartment’s inherent architectural qualities, where exposed beams, sculptural roof angles, and natural timber elements are thoughtfully integrated into the spatial composition. The material palette emphasizes craftsmanship, warmth, and tactile richness, highlighting the building’s historic structure while introducing contemporary precision. The overall aesthetic is curated in a Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern spirit, combining carefully selected vintage pieces with newly produced furniture to create a balanced and timeless interior character.
